About

Introduction

In 2006 E.C. Flossie graduated from a course at Escape Studios where he developed skills in modelling and animating using the Maya computer program. He then chose this course to further enhance his self-taught skills that he have developed over the past five years whilst he worked as a 3D artist. He has learnt a huge amount of skills in this period, which has solely been driven by the love for CG.

Initially he worked with designing web sites using flash, this advanced into becoming an expert in Photoshop. It culminated him in receiving many contracts for work from local businesses and clients in the USA. This involved a great array of computing skills but mainly post-production animation using a program called Swift3D and Photoshop. Meanwhile he used these same programs to create a series of animated 3D cartoons and from the success of these ventures, he was headhunted by Electric Rain (the creator of Swift3D) as a beta tester. This involved creating 3D objects and animations to improve their application. He won much praise for my work due to its complexity, but he found myself hindered by the constraints of the program. This led him to search for more advanced software and resulted in becoming competent in modelling using Maya. He became excited by the broad capabilities that were offered by Maya and wanted to further my expertise by attending Escape Studios.

At Escape he thrived in the challenging environment and was able to learn sophisticated methods on how to enhance my abilities to animate and model. He learnt to be more productive and was able to meet deadlines with high quality and artistic material. he was often complemented on the natural talent and quick learning on his initial creations by the studio assistants. This resulted in being able to provide a much wider selection of work than any of his class mates which consistently met the high standards he impose on himself.
After months of hard work and glad to say that he has been added to the Escape Studios “escapee” gallery.

Since his graduation from Escape Studios he has emigrated to England from Belgium in order to find work with world leading companies.

And on September 2007 he started his own full time company Aiko World Studios, developing cartoon figures to realistic creations, from concept design to 3D realisations. His latest achievement is Creative Lead on a cartoon Western Anime show.

Aiko World Studios is devoted to producing high-quality computer-generated animations / still imaging, such as shorts, promo’s, cinematics, games, music video’s, trailers, teasers, cycle’s, flyers, posters and more…
